Churchill Speeches Interactive provides an engaging learning experience through interactivity and commentary. It is a groundbreaking, award winning initiative in web learning with support of The Churchill Foundation and based on CISCO Systems & MWR’s Interpreted Dialogue Builder & Player (IDBP).
Some key challenges included:
- Creating flexible components to contain a massive amount of (yet to be processed) content.
- Working within the confines of fixed architecture & hierarchy due to changing contexts (installation & web).
- Cadence with visuals direction (it had to complement rather than distract or overpower audio).
Museum curators chose to highlight key speeches during war time including the famous ‘iron curtain speech’.
